SPECIALISTS IN FINANCIAL MODELLING

If you’ve been following me on Twitter, or on Facebook you’ll have heard about my recent escapades in Singapore and Hong Kong.  You’ll also have heard that my new book Using Excel for Business Analysis; a Guide to Financial Modelling Fundamentals has now finally been published!

Although I was delayed 12 hours in Singapore, I finally staggered through customs proudly lugging several cases of them last Tuesday morning.

We now have a good stock of them here in Sydney, but the easiest way for you get hold of the book is to order it directly from Amazon or other online stockists who are selling both the hard copy and ebook versions such as Kindle. By the way, if you have got an Amazon account if you could go in and “like” the book as well as “agree with tags” that will really help the rankings according to my publishers!  Amazon (bless them) have a strange distribution arrangement whereby the books need to go from the Wiley warehouse in Singapore to the Wiley warehouse in the US then to the Amazon warehouse in the US and then shipped to you wherever you are located.  Wow, my books are more travelled than I am – I’m exhausted just thinking about the trip they’ll make on their way to you.  Hence even though the book was released last week, Amazon will not ship your book until 19th September!

So… the upshot is that if you are based in Australia, the fastest way to get a copy of the book is to come on a Plum Solutions training course!  All workshop attendees now receive a copy of the book as part of the course materials.  Take a look at the schedule to see public courses coming up soon in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Dubai and Shanghai.  In-house courses also include a copy of the book for each participant.  Get a quote for an in-house course.

Our Team

Many of you will have spoken to our office administrator, Susan Wilkin who does an amazing job of co-ordinating all of the logistics for our courses.

Kurt Alexander is a training consultant for Plum Solutions and runs many of the public courses in Australia and overseas.  He is particularly in demand in Dubai at the moment and is just about to head to Riyadh for an in-house course.  As a woman, I’ve never been very popular in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (sad but true) so I’m pleased that Kurt has been able to crack the market over there for us!

We are always on the lookout for other trainers so if you’ve got the skills, love travel and you’re interested in becoming a part-time presenter, please get in touch!
