SPECIALISTS IN FINANCIAL MODELLING

My love of Financial Modelling and Excel is always leading me to new and exciting places.  I just returned from Perth yesterday where I presented the one-day Data Analysis & Dashboards as a closed private in-house workshop.  Next week I’m also looking forward to travelling and presenting at the PASS conference in San Jose, California for a couple of days.

However, with my Melbourne-based little sister expecting her first-born any day now (SO exciting!) I’m actively looking for any excuse to come down south so so if you are keen to book an in-house workshop for your company, I’d love to hear from you!  Don’t forget that for any in-house workshop booked in May, we will include the Introduction to Financial Modelling online course for each of your participants. Check out more information about our bulk discounts.

Guest Speaker, Lance Rubin:
“How Financial Modelling can help you make a Step Change in your Career”

I’d love to catch up with you all at the Melbourne Modellers’ Meetup on Tuesday, 31st May 2016 at 6pm and hosted by KPMG.

Have you noticed lately how many finance roles have “financial modelling” listed as a core skill? Financial modelling is now one of the most sought after skills in today’s corporate world and demand for financial modelling skills continues to outstrip supply!

Discover key tips and strategies for pitching yourself as a financial modelling expert to capitalise on your existing modelling and analysis skills. In this informative session we will also discuss why it’s important to continue to develop your Excel modelling skills throughout your career.

Hear from financial modelling expert, Lance Rubin, whose financial modelling focus led his own career journey from Auditor, to Corporate Finance Transactional financial modeller in investment banking to CFO and Senior Strategic Advisor.

Lance Rubin is now CEO of Model Citizn, a Melbourne-based financial modelling advisory firm that specialises in building models across a range of sectors including social impact investing, property and financial services for companies and investment trusts. Prior to starting Model Citizn, Lance had over 18 years in financial services and investment banking where he passionately developed his modelling skills across corporate finance, M&A, advisory and finance teams within the banking sector. Lance is also currently the CFO of Banjo, a fintech start-up which provides fast business loans to SME customers.

Join us to network with other modellers and financial analysts. This informal meetup is a great opportunity to network, catch up with old friends and make new ones. All welcome, and there is no charge for this event.  Drinks and food can be purchased at the bar.  Don’t forget your business cards!

If you missed this event, you can RSVP for the next one here or listen to the audio below (the video did not really turn out, but the audio isn’t too bad).
