Welcome to a 5-part video series on the “Must-have Excel Functions for Financial Modelling”. In part 2 we take a look at a relatively new dynamic array function in Excel for Microsoft 365 called STOCKHISTORY. If you’re working in finance, this is a really useful tool as you can enter stock prices, currency exchange rates or other information and pull the prices directly into Excel for use in your financial model.

Watch as Microsoft MVP, Danielle Stein Fairhurst demonstrates how to use the STOCKHISTORY function to pull different stock prices for varying date ranges and intervals. We also look at exchange rates and show how to compare these on a line chart.
